Turbine Efficiency Sponsor Rising Jet Ski Star

For the past three years Turbine Efficiency has sponsored a rising jet-ski star by the name of Jonathan Hunter, as he competes in the JSRA (Jet Ski) British Championships. This year has seen Jonathan’s best season yet, with him finishing second in the expert pro-stock class.

Jonathan started to compete back in 2011 in the ‘runabout’ class within the beginner category; and has progressed well ever since, moving through to the novice class and then more recently into the expert pro-stock class. His Jet Ski has a 1500cc engine and produces around 320-brake horsepower with a top speed of 80mph (with no brakes!).

This season has been a hard season for Jonathan, as he has experienced more than his fair share of mechanical and electrical failures during races. However with his determination and drive, and the support of his father Dave, he was able to finish the season in second (in the British Championship) and also win one of the races in the European Championship too.

His current British Championship record is:
- 2011 – Beginner Class – finished fourth
- 2012 – Novice Class – finished first – British Champion
- 2013 – Expert Pro-Stock Class – finished third
- 2014 – Expert Pro-Stock Class – finished second

Jonathan plans to aim even higher next year and take part in the World Championships (taking place in the USA) and we look forward to following him every step of the way.
