]]>Indestructible Paints specialist and coating manufacturer in association with Turbine Efficiency, last week applied the Chrome Free diffusion paint coating to actual engine components in the Turbine Efficiency Laboratory.
This is the first time the coating has been trialled anywhere outside of the IP laboratory. Not only does this give Turbine Efficiency a real world insight to the new coatings that will be coming to the market soon, but giving Indestructible Paints real time development feedback towards commercial availability.
This partnership will fast track the development of these eagerly awaited products into the market place, allowing our customers to be the first to use this innovative, and soon to be compulsory product.

]]>Turbine Efficiency is a UK company based in Lincoln. Established over 16 years ago, TE has redefined turbo machinery support, providing exceptional engineering and logistic solutions to customers who operate and own small industrial Gas Turbines.
Turbine Efficiency were recently chosen to be the Long Term Service Partner for E.ON, a leading energy company.
The new six-year contract which covers Typhoon type engines at four E.ON facilities across the UK and Italy was awarded following a competitive tender process and will deliver numerous commercial benefits to all parties.
This accelerated start to the year doesn’t stop there, TE has also been awarded other long-term service agreements, one each in the UK and Algeria and two sites in Italy. The contracts range from 2 to 6 years, and they include coverage for maintenance, field service, remote monitoring, training, 24hr support & emergency call outs for the SGT-100, SGT-200 & SGT-300 Gas Turbines.

Test Options:
Full Speed, No Load – this consists of running the engine to full speed, no load to record. Full casing leak checks are performed.
Full Speed, Full Load – this test allows the engine to be run up to full operating temperatures. This ‘stress test’ will show the full pressures on the engine’s components and their integrity. Performance will be measured on: speed, bearing temperatures, deviations and vibration levels. Full casing leak checks are also performed.
