Bowled over at the Qubica World Cup

We have another sporting superstar within the Turbine Efficiency (TEL) midst; with the world class Kylie Bromley. Last month TEL sponsored Kylie as she competed in the Qubica Bowling World Cup in Wroclaw, Poland.
This year is the 50th anniversary of the event (which was started in 1965 in Dublin, Ireland) and saw 152 people competing in total, 82 in the men’s category and 70 in the ladies category.
The event took place between the 1st and 9th of November and saw a multitude of nationalities competing for the coveted cup. Kylie competed on behalf of Wales and finished 25th out of 70, which is the highest placed Welsh competitor since Mel Isaac won the competition in the year 2000.
Kylie has been coached by her dad Pete for the past 18 years and averaged a score of 199 over 20 games at the competition.
Kylie plans to continue with her training and aim for an even higher position next year!
