Resident Lead Engineer and Business Development Manager

Lee is a highly motivated gas turbine engineer with nearly 40 years experience across a broad range of gas turbines. He started as an apprentice at Ruston Gas Turbines in 1981 and after completing an HND in engineering in the apprentice program continued at RGT in the core assembly department 32 bay. After a few years he decided that field work was the career he wanted so moved to the refurbishment department at Freeman Road to get the experience of stripping and rebuilding turbines. He started as a field service engineer in 1991 and worked all over the world until 1994 when he was made resident engineer in Italy, responsible for the gas turbine fleet in country covering breakdowns and planned service work. In 2002 his first daughter was born and he changed jobs to Retrofit Sales back in Lincoln which led to a position in the Barcelona office. Lee returned to field service work in 2005 and has since done not only service and trouble shooting but also installation supervisor roles on new projects. On Sept 1st 2018 Lee joined Turbine Efficiency as Resident Lead Engineer and Business Development Manager based in Spain.
