Turbine Efficiency Group – Updated Statement on Covid-19 Coronavirus Outbreak

Whilst we are diligently observing the UK Government’s recent instructions with regard to managing the spread of the Corvid-19 outbreak and are working to our established Business Continuity Plan, we wish to reassure our customers that Turbine Efficiency’s facilities in the UK and Gas Turbine Applications, in Oklahoma, USA, both remain operational with our dedicated Customer Support Managers and Field Service Engineers also are available 24/7 to support critical operations. Our Resident Turbine Service Engineers in Italy and Spain, are also operational, subject to compliance with local restrictions in some parts of those countries and continue to be able to provide emergency and breakdown support coverage to our many customers in-country.

In the UK we are operating a slightly reduced workshop team to cover critical and emergency customer projects, and have moved as many office personnel as possible to home working to ensure we do everything possible to protect the welfare of our employees and their families. As we support many customers in the Healthcare, Power Generation and Infrastructure sectors, many of our activities fall under the “Critical” classification and we are therefore able to maintain workshop support for our customers as may be required.

Our in-house Coatings and Repair Facility also remains in operation and we would be happy to support both existing and any new customers with any coating work if you are experiencing any difficulties with normal supply chains.

We appreciate that this is a rapidly evolving scenario and we will continue to provide updates as necessary. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding any of the above information or to check in with your regular points of contact within TEL or GTA for updates on the current situation. We will continue to issue updates on a regular basis, but for now and most importantly we extend our best wishes to all in the industry and hope that you stay safe and well.
